2021 Solstice Supper benefiting CAC Beardsley Community Farm

Join us for our Solstice Supper dinner to benefit CAC Beardsley Community Farm. Dinner will be prepared on-site at Beardsley and can be picked up to take home or eaten picnic-style at the farm. Dinners will be available from 5 pm-7 pm.

This year's Solstice Supper is a meal prepared by Simpl. on Sevier with dessert by Girls Gotta Eat Good. The supper will include Beardsley's own sustainably grown produce.

The Meal

Choose 1 burger (each option comes with all sides):

Simpl. House Burger: Double L Farms beef, cheese, tomato jam, pickles, onion, greens, aioli on Scruffy Bakes sourdough brioche bun

Or

Simpl. Black Bean Burger: house-made black bean burger, cheese, tomato jam, pickles, onion, greens, aioli on Scruffy Bakes sourdough brioche bun

And

Simpl. Seasonal Veggies: a salad with seasonal veggies and herb vinaigrette

Simpl. handmade potato chips

Girls Gotta Eat Good: Ube Cheesecake Brownie, a decadent dessert with a cake-like base made with ube (purple Filipino yam) and topped with a layer of cheesecake. Flavor notes include yam, vanilla, and subtle hints of coconut.

Beverages: Tea and water will be available at the farm.

Fresh cut flowers will be available to purchase at ticket checkout.

Directions to Beardsley

We are located at 1741 Reynolds Street. If you are on Western Avenue heading away from downtown, you'll go through the 17th St. intersection and also the Middlebrook/University Avenue intersection. You will see a Food City on the left and will start to go uphill. At the crest of the hill, the News Sentinel building is on the left and Reynolds Street is the street directly across from it. Turn right on Reynolds. After 800 yards, turn left immediately after the "Ed Cothren Pool" sign.  Parking is available by the Beardsley Education Center, on the gravel area by the Beardsley barn, and parallel parking is an option on the road leading up to the Education Center.
