Take Action!: A Guide to Growing Pollinator Plants and Arranging Flowers

  • CAC Beardsley Community Farm 1741 Reynolds Street Knoxville, TN, 37921 United States (map)

Do you want to make the most of your garden in the most eco-friendly way possible? Ijams is proud to partner with CAC Beardsley Community Farm as part of Ijams' Take Action! series to offer a FREE Summer Gardening Series!

Each month, CAC Beardsley Community Farm will host a free gardening class to teach you everything from starting and maintaining your gardening to harvesting and beyond!

The second workshop is June 24 at 6 pm at Beardsley Farm (1741 Reynolds St. Knoxville, TN 37921). This workshop will discuss the benefits of growing different types of pollinator and native plants, and includes a hands-on, sustainably-gathered flower arranging lesson. You'll take a short walk around the farm to harvest some blooms before the arranging lesson.

You must reserve your spot in order to participate in this free workshop. If you end up not being able to attend the workshop, please notify us by emailing Sarah Brobst at sbrobst@ijams.org so we can open the spot to another participant.

If you are interested in the series, here is the list of the other summer workshops coming up:
