CAC Beardsley Community Farm is non-profit organization partially funded by the City of Knoxville and Knox County. To meet our annual budget however we depend upon fundraising events and the generosity of individual donors.

$1 – buys a little less than one pound of onion sets for planting
$5 – gets two packets of Southern Seed Exchange seeds
$10 – purchases a good pair of sturdy leather work gloves
$20– buys enough protective fabric to cover a row of vegetables during a freeze
$50 – provides one high quality no-kink hose
$100 – purchases a wheelbarrow
$200 – supplies a broad-fork
$1,000 – pays for a drip-irrigation system within the main grounds of Beardsley
$5,000 – provides the farm with a machine shed for the tractor
$10,000 – funds a month-long summer camp at Beardsley
$25,000 – allows for the hiring of a part-time farm worker for a year
$100,000 – Installs a building with offices, a meeting room, and a public restroom on the farm.
