Take Action! Preserving the Harvest: Fruit Jams and Sauces

  • CAC Beardsley Community Farm 1741 Reynolds Street Knoxville, TN, 37921 United States (map)

Have you ever wanted to make the most of your garden in the most eco-friendly way possible? Ijams is proud to partner with CAC Beardsley Community Farm as part of Ijams' Take Action! series to offer a FREE Summer Gardening Series!

Each month, CAC Beardsley Community Farm will host a free gardening class to teach you everything from starting and maintaining your gardening to harvesting and beyond!

The third workshop in this gardening series takes place July 22 at 6 pm at Beardsley Farm (1741 Reynolds St. Knoxville, TN 37921). Beardsley staff will demonstrate the basics of preserving fruits from the garden. In this hands-on class, you'll learn to make a jam or two, and a freezer apple/pear sauce. YUM!

You must reserve your spot in order to participate in this free workshop. If you end up not being able to attend the workshop, please notify us by emailing Sarah Brobst at sbrobst@ijams.org so we can open the spot to another participant.
