Do you want to learn how to make the most of your garden, and do so in the most eco-friendly way possible? Ijams Nature Center is proud to partner with Beardsley Farm as part of our Take Action series for a Summer Gardening Series that is free of charge. Each month, Beardsley will host a free gardening class to teach about everything from starting a garden, to maintaining, to harvesting and beyond.
The series kicks off on May 27, 2021 at 6pm at Beardsley Farm (1741 Reynolds St. Knoxville, TN 37921) for a hands-on workshop about sustainable summer gardening practices. Beardsley Farm staff will guide new gardeners on the basics of growing summer crops, maintenance tips and tricks, and sustainable practices for a healthy landscape and produce.
You must reserve your spot in order to participate in this free workshop. If you end up not being able to attend the workshop, please notify us by emailing Sarah Brobst at sbrobst@ijams.org so we can open the spot to another participant.
