On-going Projects

Each week we donate what we harvest at the farm to local food pantries. Here is a list of the pantries:

• Monday- Bridge Ministries 540-1311

• Wednesday- Family Promise 584-2822

• Friday-Family Crisis Center 637-8000, KARM 673-6540
  

Also, each week we pick up around 600 lbs of food waste from Tomato Head, Three Rivers Market, Veg O Rama and The Golden Roast. This food waste composts into a rich organic fertilizer which we use on our farm.

Current Projects

Here’s what we are working on right now:

• Completing the Straw Bale Shed
• Adding 5 new berry beds & 30 new trees
• Constructing a LEED restroom and Energy Star Efficient Kitchen
• Constructing an Outdoor Classroom
• Constructing a water catchment system by UT Architecture students
• Completing the BCF cookbook
