Tours

Tours of Beardsley Community Farm are a walking and talking view of our half-acre main garden, urban orchard, and community gardens. You will learn about sustainable agricultural practices and community programs as you walk around our urban demonstration site. We offer tours of CAC Beardsley Community Farm Monday through Friday upon advance request.  Tours are free, but donations are always welcome.

Field Trips

Field Trips are a great opportunity to see urban farming up close while learning about sustainable vegetable production. Field trips usually include a tour of the farm and a farm activity, such as worm composting or seed planting. Let us know if there are specific topics which you would like for us to address; we are often able to tailor material for individual groups. Field trips are free, but donations are always welcome.

Workshops

We offer workshops on a variety of subjects concerning urban gardening. Please see the calendar under the “About” tab for information on our upcoming workshops. Workshop costs vary depending upon the material covered and supplies used, but most are between $5 and $10, if not free. Please contact us if you are interested in hosting a workshop or requesting a workshop on specific material.
