Steps Towards Progress

Part of the whole new look at Beardsley are the steps that lead up to the straw bale entrance. Luke worked along with the youth workers Donnie and Khaleel to build beautiful steps up the hill. But, as they say, beauty is pain. And from the looks of the sweat and energy put into creating these steps, I’d say beautiful steps are definitely the work of lots of painful labor!

Not only did they create steps, but they also built a small deck that connects the straw bale entrance with the steps. Take a look.

We are turning things around at Beardsley and taking steps toward progress! Come out to the farm and take a look for yourself.
