Glastonbury Farm
When most people were resting at home this presidents day, Americorps members were out an about serving where we could. Many of our offices were closed for the holiday leaving some of us wondering what to do. Luckily for Beardsley Farm members Betsy at Glastonbury Farm generously invited us to visit her and her goats in excahnge for a little work. We went over for the day to shovel a little goat poo and pick some potatos but mostly just to squeal at all the cute animals. There were around 40 goats, a pig, a llama, chickens, ducks, geese, guinea fowl and several dogs and cats. A few of us were even lucky enough to hold the baby goats! Adorable is the only way to describe the experience. Thanks Betsy!
